We are a research team in the Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation at Arizona State University. We are conducting a study to examine educators’ perceptions, teaching practices, and well-being as they navigate anti-critical race theory (CRT) or anti-CRT laws and policies in education. To complete this study, we need your help.

As a thank you, you will be entered into a drawing to receive one of FIFTY $50 Visa gift cards. We are inviting your participation, which will involve 15 - 20 minutes of your time in a survey regarding your perceptions, teaching practices, and well-being in light of anti-CRT laws and policies in education. You have the right not to answer any question and to stop participation at any time.

The results of this study may be used in reports, presentations, or publications but your name will not be used. Results from this survey will only be shared in aggregate form. We will collect contact information (name and email) for the drawing for the $50 Visa gift card. We will also ask whether you are interested in participating in an interview and will use the email provided to contact you if you are interested. These answers will not be examined in connection with your survey responses.

Your participation in this study is voluntary.  If you choose not to participate or to withdraw from the study at any time, there will be no penalty. You must be 18 or older and a current educator in P12 education in Arizona to participate in this study.

Please note: should this survey elicit any feelings for which you would like to receive support, we encourage you to contact the counseling services at your school or health care provider.

If you have any questions about this study, please contact the project PI: Lydia Ross (lydia.ross@asu.edu) or Carlos Casanova (carlos.casanova@asu.edu). If you have any questions about your rights as a subject/participant in this research, or if you feel you have been placed at risk, you can contact the Chair of the Human Subjects Institutional Review Board, through the ASU Office of Research Integrity and Assurance, at (480) 965-6788.

By completing the following survey, you are consenting to be a part of the study.
